Our group of 10 had lovely Sunday lunch here today. Great Yorkshire Pudding, excellent (Cod) fish & chips, roast Cod and burger, together with nice draft lager🍻. Reasonable price. Very nice friendly pub atmosphere, and the friendliest and nicest owner!! We feel like being in an old friend’s home 😀😀. Thanks, Bryan, for your great hospitality👍🙏
We called mid-morning hoping that we might get coffee and scones, but not overly hopeful at that time of the day. We were the only customers, but nicely welcomed. No scones, but really brilliant flat whites made it a great little stop. The building is beautiful and very well kept.

We have been here quite a few times before. We always use the adults side so I can't say what the family side is like. The food was well cooked and presented. Not bad value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful. We did have a problem with part of our order. Which was sorted out when we pointed it out. We would eat here again.
This place has it all. An indoor play area for young ones and an outdoor park with a huge beer garden. Looking forward to Idefest in July. Food looked good although not the cheapest. Drinks are also a bit pricey but a good selection to pick from. Recommend the Devon dreamer ale.

Lovely beer garden and an epic cheeseboard. Have been a couple of times recently and have been impressed on both occasions. Plenty of parking and decent cider. Reception from the landlady can be a little frosty, but it must be grim having to deal with the public day in, day out. Recommended.
This is a lovely little place. I stayed over the Easter weekend and really enjoyed myself. My room was nice and clean, with a very comfy bed. Great breakfast options. Wonderful choice of well kept ales, including their own Nobody's Ale. Humongous selection of wine and whiskey. Staff were very lovely, food was yummy (buy only one veggie option - which is why I've only given 4 stars). All of this set in stunning surroundings. Well worth a visit.
